The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect involved in this week’s home burglary in Avila Beach. Investigators believe 44-year-old Louis Spear burglarized a home on Avila Valley Drive on Tuesday afternoon. He fled in a 2017 Jeep Wrangler that was reported stolen in Isla Vista. The Jeep was spotted in Paso Robles and a short pursuit ended when Spear left the vehicle behind Target on Theater Drive. Officers caught up with their suspect in a fast food restaurant and took him into custody without incident.
