The City of Grover Beach has announced the retirement of Police Chief John Peters. Chief Peters joined the Grover Beach P.D. in 2006, becoming chief in 2015. Grover Beach City officials have already chosen a new Police Chief. Commander Jim Munro will officially take over the reigns as Chief when his employment agreement is approved by the city council.
