Allan Hancock College has expanded its Promise Program. In 2018 Hancock announced a promise to local high school graduates. Enroll full-time at Hancock, and the first year of college is free. College officials say they are now able to offer a second year to qualifying students. According to KEYT, more than 8300 local students have received their first year of college education through the Hancock Promise program.
