A Paso Robles elementary school was on lockdown for a short time yesterday morning. Police say officers tried to pull a vehicle over but the driver fled. A short chase ended in the parking lot of Pat Butler Elementary School. The Driver and passenger of the vehicle refused to exist. School staff initiated the lockdown as a precaution. Authorities say a search of the vehicle revealed possible evidence of property crimes and identity theft. After both people were arrested the lockdown was lifted.
