A Santa Maria man is behind bars after attempting to meet a minor. Yesterday, 37-year-old Salvador Montar thought he was meeting an adult woman and her 11-year-old daughter in a Santa Maria parking lot. Investigators say he used social media messaging to meet with the mother-daughter duo with the intent to engage in illicit acts with the girl. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on several felony charges.
