San Luis Obispo County voter participation was better than expected. That’s according to the latest ballot count by the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s office. As of yesterday afternoon, the elections office had counted a total of 89,297 ballots, improving voter participation to 50.5 percent. Heather Moreno also increased her lead in the race for District 5 county supervisor. She now holds 56 percent of the vote.
