The Lompoc Police Department has deployed new officer-worn body-cams. Officials say the new body-worn cameras and new upgraded in-car camera systems, will be an improvement to public safety, transparency, and officer accountability. According to a press release, the new in-car and body-worn cameras are a significant step forward in ongoing efforts to ensure Lompoc remains safe and welcoming for all.
