Coast Unified School District has a new superintendent. Jill Southern will take the reins of the district on July 1st. She was appointed to the position last week by the district’s board of supervisors. Southern is a Cal Poly Grad with a master’s degree with distinction in educational leadership and administration. She has taught at various grade levels in Lucia Mar and Templeton school districts starting in 2003.
