A Sunday morning drive gets the driver’s car impounded. According to a CHP Templeton Office Facebook post, the driver was westbound on Highway 46 East near Whitley Gardens when he blew past a patrol officer at 131 miles an hour. He told the officer that he was tired and in a hurry to get to his destination. He was cited for driving in excess of 100 mph and driving without a license. According to the Tribune, because he was unlicensed, his vehicle was impounded as well.
