A South San Luis Obispo County Water recycling project has been put on hold. At a meeting last week, Central Coast Blue Regional Water Authority’s Board of directors decided to pause the project and reevaluate the proposal. Officials point to a loss of key grant funding and skyrocketing costs. The original cost was projected to be around 49 million dollars, split between Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, and Arroyo Grande. That price tag ballooned to close to 160 million dollars.
