Atascadero City officials are moving forward with a plan increase safety and reduce traffic congestion. The Downtown Infrastructure Enhancement Plan was drafted several years ago. The plan would increase pedestrian and bike access, parking, and crosswalk safety. It’s still unclear exactly how much the project will cost, but construction along El Camino Real could begin in June.
