A Nipomo man landed in jail following an altercation at an Atascadero bar early Sunday morning. According to a press release, officers responded to a report of a fight at the Whiskey and June Bar at around 1:45. The suspect brandished a firearm, pointing it at several people before fleeing. Police caught up with Michael Garcia on East Front Street. He was booked on several charges, including felony assault with a deadly weapon and DUI.
