Paso Robles Parking Ordinance On Pause

A Paso Robles ordinance set to take effect last Friday has been paused. According to the Tribune, the ordinance would allow the city to charge a dollar an hour, and up to five dollars an hour, for parking in some downtown areas. That ordinance is being challenged by a citizens group called For A Better Paso Robles. Officials say they have collected enough signatures for a ballot initiative that would require voters to approve the city’s ordinance. The group says they expect the initiative to be on the November ballot.
