Overdose deaths in Santa Barbara County have spiked by 51 percent. That’s the word from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s office. According to KSBY, a report by Sheriff Bill Brown revealed that last year, 226 people lost their lives to drug overdoses. The Sheriff also outlined efforts to combat the overdose issue and told the County Board of Supervisors that the county could be doing more.
