A San Luis Obispo community garden is being converted to a public park. The former community garden near Broad and Lincoln Streets had become run-down over the years. Construction of the new North Broad Street Neighborhood Park began late last year. It will include an open play space, garden planter boxes, motion-sensor lighting, security cameras, and a walking path. The park should be completed in June.
