The Atascadero Police Department has issued a warning about motorcycle riding in the Salinas Riverbed. Officials say there has been a surge in unauthorized motorcycle activity in the area, posing risks to the riders, equestrian riders, and hikers. Motorcycle riding in the riverbed can also damage the riverbed’s ecosystem.
