Local reservoirs are at or above yearly averages. Following a wet beginning to 2024, and not including last weekend’s rainfall, The Salinas Dam at Santa Margarita Lake was at 101.6% of total capacity. Lopez Lake northeast of Arroyo Grande was at more than 100 percent. Lake Nacimiento was reported to be 94 percent full. In Santa Barbara County, Cachuma Lake was at 131 percent of capacity.
