Governor Gavin Newsom requested FEMA funding to help repair storm damages in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Over the weekend, President Joe Biden approved the Federal Disaster Declaration. The funding will help repair damages from storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that happened between January 31, and February 9th. Seven other California counties were also approved for FEMA funding.
