Paul Flores may be moved to a protective housing unit. In the last eight months, Flores has been attacked twice at Pleasant Valley State Prison. Officials say his case is being reviewed. A protective housing unit could be within the Coalinga prison or outside of it. Flores is currently serving a 25-years-to-life sentence for the 1996 death of Cal Poly Freshman Kristin Smart.
