San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County officials are turning their focus on a growing issue. Residents who live near the Santa Maria riverbed say a homeless encampment has grown over the past few years. An effort is being made by SLO and Santa Barbara Counties to collaborate on efforts to address the issue. According to KSBY, both counties are working on a Memorandum of Understanding to streamline communication and coordination.
