A hit-and-run crash in Orcutt turned into a high-speed pursuit and an hours-long search. CHP officials say the driver of a Jeep hit another car in Orcutt yesterday morning and fled northbound on the 101. The driver reached triple-digit speeds before exiting the highway in Grover Beach and fleeing on foot. Police caught up with the suspect in Arroyo Grande just before 2 yesterday afternoon. They have been booked into County Jail.
