Santa Maria elementary and junior high school students participated in the second annual Santa Maria Valley VEX IQ Robotics Championship over the weekend. Officials say the students spent weeks and even months preparing for Saturday’s competition. The second annual event was co-organized by Santa Maria Bonita School District Robotics and Delta Robotics.
