Santa Maria Regional Transit unveiled its new fleet of electric transit vehicles on Earth Day yesterday. The four 35-foot-long buses are just the beginning of Santa Maria’s plan to convert most of the city’s buses to electric. 10 more electric buses are expected to be delivered later this year.
