Several people believed to have been involved in a botched armed robbery have been arrested. Santa Maria Police say the robbery happened last December during a large house gathering on West Cook Street. Officers had responded to a report of shots being fired. When they arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. One of the suspects was fatally injured. The ongoing investigation led to the arrest of three other suspects. They were taken into Custody on Tuesday and Wednesday. The investigation continues.
