The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors has approved a contract extension with Wellpath. Wellpath provides medical and mental health services in the county’s Main Jail and Northern Branch Jail in Santa Maria. The unanimous contract extension approval came, despite staffing concerns raised by some supervisors and a recent Grand Jury report.
