Hope’s Village May Have New home For Tiny Houses

After more than 12 years of searching, Hope’s Village of SLO may have found a home. The plan is to build shelters for chronically homeless people. Officials with the tiny home project say they have entered escrow on a plot of land around four miles northwest of San Luis Obispo near Cuesta College. Before the project can break ground, Hope’s Village must break close escrow and secure loans for the 1.7 million dollar price tag. So far, they have raised roughly 457,000 dollars from private donors.
