A hit-and-run accident in Grover Beach over the weekend sent a bicyclist to the hospital. Grover Beach police say the accident happened just after 11 o’clock Saturday night. A bicyclist was struck at the intersection Highway 1 and Grand Avenue. The driver of the car fled the scene, but later contacted police and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
