The Swinging Bridge in Arroyo Grande is the only one of its kind in California. City officials say the bridge is in need of some upgrades to meet current safety standards. According to KSBY, the bridges foundation needs to be stabilized, handrails upgraded, and the walkway reinforced. The project should be completed by September.
