The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors is facing a multi-million dollar budget deficit. 15.6 million dollars for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. County Supervisors are looking at a variety of ways to close the gap. According to the Tribune, the county will cut department budgets, move funding around, and dip into reserves to make up the difference. Following a three-day hearing, the Board of Supervisors will vote on the budget on June 5th.
