The Homeless Union that had filed a lawsuit against San Luis Obispo County and CAPSLO has dropped the lawsuit. According to KSBY, the suit was voluntarily dropped last week. Union officials had claimed the County and CAPSLO did not do enough to provide housing assistance to the people living at the safe parking site on Oklahoma Avenue. While the lawsuit has been dropped, the attorney for the Union promises another suit is in the planning stages.
