A 74-year-old Grover Beach man is facing a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge in the death of an Arroyo Grande woman. The accident happened at around 4:25 New Year’s Day on North 12th Street in Grover Beach. Michelle Seybert was riding her bike when she was struck by Richard Grandi’s vehicle. Grandi was in court yesterday but did not enter a plea. Prosecutors believe glare from the sun and the time of day were contributing factors in the crash.
