Los Osos Middle School was placed on lockdown yesterday afternoon. According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, an employee received a “generalized threat” on their personal cell phone just before three o’clock. Out of an abundance of caution, school officials notified the Sheriff’s Office. Because it was the end of the school day, students were released to their parents while law enforcement was on campus. An investigation is ongoing.
