Eight people were arrested yesterday morning after they chained themselves together and blocked an entrance to Cal Poly. The protesters had chained themselves across the California Boulevard entrance to the university. According to school officials, when the protesters declined to leave the roadway, they were arrested. Four were students, one was a faculty member, and three others were not affiliated with the university.
