The San Luis Obispo Utility Box Art Program is back. After being put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, applications are now being accepted. The deadline for applications is June 30th. The city will choose 10 artists by the end of July. Their art will be installed by mid-August. According to KSBY, This year is different from years past. The artists will be using vinyl wraps to cover 10 new boxes instead of painting. Applications can be found at SLO City dot org.
