An Orcutt man is being accused of setting his own house on fire yesterday. Santa Barbara County deputies answered a call regarding a man breaking the windows of a Genoa Way home. When they arrived, they saw smoke coming from the home and called the Fire Department. Deputies later learned that the resident, 52-year-old Rockie Ginter, had started the fire himself. He was arrested on suspicion of arson and vandalism. According to KSBY, why Ginter set fire to his home is under investigation.
