Air Pollution Control District Reaches Settlement With Cannabis Company

The Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District and a Lompoc cannabis processing facility have reached a settlement over several air quality violations. Central Coast Agriculture has agreed to pay 1.3 million dollars in penalties for air quality violations. According to a press release, full civil payment is due no later than today. A portion of the penalty will be used to expand surveillance of other cannabis operations in Santa Barbara County.
