The Grover Beach Police Department has released the body-cam footage from last month’s fatal officer-involved shooting. It happened on Saturday, May 25th, at the corner of 13th and Grand Avenue. In the video, 41-year-old Aaron Gardner from Independence, Missouri, is heard claiming to have a real gun. He’s also seen not complying with the officer before pointing a replica handgun at the officer. The investigation is ongoing and could take several months to complete.
