Two people were arrested after robbing the Walgreens in Atascadero. According to Atascadero police, officers responded to a report of a strong-arm robbery Wednesday night just before 6:30.. One of the suspects assaulted an employee when they were spotted putting merchandise into a trash bag. The pair fled but were spotted by the CHP in Monterey County a couple of hours later. Both were apprehended following a brief chase and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
