A sting operation has brought several construction projects to a halt. A collaboration between the Contractors State License Board and the San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office, found nine people working as contractors without a contractor’s license in Arroyo Grande. Those people are now facing fines of up to 15,000 dollars. Seven projects were also issued stop work orders because the contractors failed to provide worker’s compensation insurance for their employees.
