A traffic accident led to the arrest of an Arroyo Grande Man on Wednesday. Police say 34-year-old Robert Meserve crashed his car into an occupied trash truck Wednesday morning at around 9:30. According to yesterday’s press release, officers observed symptoms of impairment. Meserve was arrested and later released. According to the Tribune, San Luis Obispo Police were involved in a drunk driving incident of their own later that night. Just before midnight, an alleged drunk driver crashed into a patrol car while officers were conducting a traffic stop. Two patrol cars were damaged in the crash.
