Firefighters in Lompoc made fairly quick work of a house fire yesterday afternoon. The fire broke out at a home on the 3800 block of Via Parte. A single-family home was involved in smoke and flames when firefighters arrived. It was knocked down just before Five o’clock. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
