Traveling through Downtown SLO will be a little more difficult, especially in the overnight hours. This week, crews will be putting the finishing touches on a striping project along Monterey Street, between Santa Rosa Street and California Boulevard between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. According to the Tribune, Nipomo and Monterey streets will be affected by closures and detours as crews install stone columns for the new cultural arts district parking structure. That work is scheduled between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.
