Central Coast Blue, a local water sustainability project in the Five Cities is still hanging on by a thread. Rising costs, a loss of state funding, and improvements to local water supplies prompted Grover Beach and Arroyo Grande city officials to opt out of the project. According to KSBY, that leaves only Pismo Beach still considering the project. Pismo City officials are still looking at the project while also looking at various funding options.
