Lompoc Police are asking for the public’s help regarding illegal fireworks. Officials say between May and mid July last year, the department received more than 300 calls regarding illegal fireworks. Now there’s an app. You can download the iPhone app at “USPDHUB” or the Play Store at “Lompoc Police Department.” Officials remind everyone that citations for illegal aerial fireworks start at $1,000.
