Gas prices continue to drop as we head into a Fourth of July weekend. According to Triple-A, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is 3.49 a gallon. Mississippi has the cheapest gas in the country at 2.93 a gallon. California is the most expensive at 4.79 a gallon. San Luis Obispo County is reporting an average of 5.08 a gallon. Santa Barbara County is reporting 4.92 a gallon.
