A southbound lane on the Cuesta Grade is closed this week. The closure began yesterday at the bottom of the Cuesta Grade near Old Stage Coach Road. The one-mile stretch of highway will be closed at least until Friday so crews can work on a project to help prevent falling rocks. The closure is in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
