The Federal Transit Authority has announced a third round of funding for projects that improve public transportation. According to KEYT, The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority will receive more than 2.5 million dollars to purchase new electric buses and chargers to replace aging equipment. Santa Barbara County will also receive close to 2.9 million dollars to increase its fleet of electric buses.
