New evacuation orders have been issued for people living near the Lake Fire. The order affects the area east of La Brea Creek and Forest Route 10N06, south of the Los Padres National Forest boundary, and north of the Sisquoc River. More than 2,100 people have been affected by Lake Fire evacuations. According to the Cal Fire incident page, the Lake Fire has, so far, scorched more than 34,000 acres. More than 3200 men and women are battling the blaze that started last Friday. Containment of the largest fire burning in California is still 16 percent.
