A Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office homicide investigation has led to the arrest of a Lompoc woman. A deceased adult female was reported to the Sheriff’s Office Saturday morning. Her death happened inside a residence on Khouri Circle and was considered suspicious. Investigators found enough evidence to arrest 46-year-old Brooke Carter as a suspect in the woman’s death.
