Firefighters continue to have success battling the Lake Fire. The Fire broke out 13 days ago, charring 38,663 acres. Fire crews have the blaze 42 percent contained. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office canceled evacuation orders and warnings for areas south of the Lake Fire perimeter yesterday. The weather will not be helping any time soon. The National Weather Service is predicting a heatwave for the area for the next several days.
